Man’s Best Friend

I want to tell you a story about my life long pal

Although his name was Kimba, we called him Sal

He made me laugh, yes he would

He wagged his tail, and of four legs he stood

As my protector, he would give his life for mine

Security like that makes everything fine

At night, I miss the sound of his bark

Just as I miss the walks through the park

Since the dog is known as man’s best friend,

This relationship is unlikely to ever end
