Poem

The difficulty of understanding the mind,

The lack of simplicity, the edge of awareness,

The longing to be judging and still maintain fairness.

The love of goals yet hate of difficulty,

The road to the future, the lessons of the past,

The desire to drive slow and still going fast.

Humans are conflicting, seeing what they want to see.

If only they were like animals- simple to the core.

The loving nature and complete lack of bore.

The sound of birds, howls of wolves, trotting of the horse,

Each creature different in their speech, song, and hum,

No one understands the animal kingdom.
