Animal Poem

As the sun bakes worms til browned
And birds let loose their sound
The ants crawl over the ground
Meaningless in their marching
Crocodiles swimming swiftly
A dog starts at the bite of a flea
Bees flying round an apple tree
Til they collect their treasure
A lioness chews a gazelle
A turtle retracts into its shell
As times of old would tell
No one understands the animal kingdom
