The Town

The forest in the mountains was becoming dark when the Roberts family finally found a water supply. After days of traveling the mountains of mystery in hopes of finding a place to began their dream of building a town of their own. They traveled from the east where life in town was more stress then it was worth. This natural spring seemed to be a perfect spot to create a relaxing town for other people from the east to get away from the tension. The town seemed to grow overnight with a number of hotels arising from the earth where even the elite of the states came to enjoy a slice of mountain life. In fact the leader of the states was one of the patrons to enjoy the mountain hotel life. Then the town became more and more like the eastern states that the Roberts family was trying to leave behind. In doing so the town erupt into a civil war that nearly burnt the town to the ground. After the fight came to an end near a burning tree, the Roberts family recreated their relaxing town. The remainder of the tree was curved into a piece art for the towns people as reminder that this town is a free spirited place for artists to shine. The free spirited flocked in little by little creating art in the relaxing town when an artist named Neil Fenton created a piece of art called Phoenix. Father Roberts noticed this art right away as a perfect representation of the town that he and his family had built. The mythical bird that rose from his own ashes to fly again. The piece was bought by Father Roberts and placed in the town square as a reminder that rebirth is possible. In the years to come if the town begins slipping back to the eastern mentality, the Phoenix is there providing a feeling of hope for the future. It turns out that the town called Phoenix became a safe-haven  for struggling artistes across the globe. The dream of the Roberts family lives on through generations of creative art minded people.
