Poem- untamed

In the calming waters, is your home.

Rays of sunshine penetrate deep down in to your home,

Allowing you to see shadow,

Are you a machine, built for destruction?

Or a giant that’s misunderstood.

Always swimming never stopping,

Always searching never quit satisfied

The lone wolf, of the deep

You become aggressive with company.

If curiosity should get the better of you,

It could be fatal for someone.

Millions of years have genetically enhanced you,

Building you for speed and precision

Your mouth is a dentist’s nightmare,

But a biologist’s dream;

Ahead, a shadow you see,

Something tasty, it might be.

You swim quickly up to the surface,

Airborne seal in mouth

As you splash back into the depth,

Satisfied for now with tonight’s meal

You don’t get to hear the screams,

Of,  “SHARK”
